Prodigy ‘13: an Annual Flagship Event of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies

Prodigy ’13, an annual flagship event of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is round the corner.

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) is the premier and the oldest specialized institution of the University of Delhi, imparting education in the field of management and information technology par excellence.

SSCBS wishes to carry forward this legacy of providing an insight into the management world to the young generation by organizing an inter school management event 'PRODIGY'.

PRODIGY '13 is a one of its kind event that seeks to provide a platform to students across schools to showcase their analytical and creative abilities, besides providing them with an insight into the real world of business by simulating a corporate environment for them.

It aims to engage around 2, 00,000 students from about 1000 schools across India. It is scheduled to take place around the October 21, 201313 at the tentative venue V.P.Chest Auditorium.

This is the seventh edition of the most awaited event in the calendars of all the schools of Delhi NCR. The event has been designed to bring together more than 4000 students across India in one arena and give them a platform to pit their wits and talents against each other.

Corporate partners of Prodigy’13 are Pepsi, HP, Cafe Coffee Day, EGE, hp, Canara Bank, Fabindia, IIFM, IFFCO, ERA, Hero Honda, AIESEC, Lakshita, Presto, Sharp etc.

Prodigy comprises of Preliminary and main rounds. The preliminary round consists of

• A Comprehensive Case Study

• A team of 4 students from each school has to complete the case study within the stipulated time period.

• The questions asked in the case study should be answered in the form of a single power point presentation.

• The power point presentation should not exceed a maximum of 10 slides.

• Last date for submission of the power point presentation was September 28.

• The power point presentations will be judged on the basis of the following parameters :-

(i) Suitability and feasibility of solutions

(ii) Creativity and innovation

(iii) Presentation structure

(iv) Knowledge of the participants in the related field

• The schools that qualify the prelims will advance to Prodigy Mains Stage.
