Placement estimate 2015 of Dr. VN BRIMS

Dr V N Bedekar Institute of Management Studies witnessed huge footfall of IT and Management giants during their placement season.

 

Big brands in their respective field visited the campus of Dr V N Bedekar Institute of Management Studies to select the students as per their requirements. The companies like RBS, NOMURA, Volkswagen, Total Oil, Wipro, Reliance Money, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, IndiaBulls and many other big names visited the campus for the placements. In all 56 companies visited the campus for the final placement.

 

Every MBA students eagerly waits for his final placement, specially after the final year has commenced. And everyone has a dream of working with some or the other multinational or some giant company. And the dream of every student at Dr V N Bedekar Institute of Management Studies was fulfilled when such giant companies visited the campus this year for the students of the batch 2013-2015. 

 

Nearly 60 percent of the students got placed in campus recruitment at Dr V N Bedekar Institute of Management, Thane. The highest package was of INR 4.8 lacs per annum and it was awarded by IBS, to Anand Nikam of marketing specialization. 

On being placed in IBS, Anand was very happy and he shared his views about his placement. He said, “IBS was always one of my dream companies I wanted to work with, and I am very happy that my college could bring in the company to our campus and thus help me fulfil my dream. I whole heartedly thank my college for making my dream come true.”

 

Every student on an average got an opportunity to appear for the interview in 03 companies. That means students had the option to choose company where they want to work, rather than company having a choice of selecting a candidate out of many. 

The average package of this years’ placement is INR 3.1 lacs per annum. The management and the placement team is working very hard this year to maintain, rather improve further the job opportunities for the students of next batch and batches here on. The team is working with the aim of having at least 100 companies visiting the campus for the placements. And with efforts of the Director Dr Nitin Joshi and Placement head Prof. Sameer Sakharkar and with the ever efficient students in the placement team, this aim is no longer a distant reality now.
