Students of Bachelor of Technology of Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College, Chennai welcomed Wipro as one of the recruiting companies for aspiring final year candidates on 6th and 7th September 2015.
About 1500 students applied for the positions available at the company that not only provided an attractive designation of a software engineer but also a handsome package along with it ranging from 3.2-3.5 lac per annum.
The recruitment process consisted of a written examination which was subjective as well as objective in nature followed by personal interview to assess the student’s aptitude and confidence.
The college will soon be welcoming other top-notch corporate companies to provide a plethora of opportunities to the students.
