A picture is worth a thousand words!

The picture you see on your left is what I clicked (accidentally) on a rainy day; seated inside a car, awed at the thunderous weather. It was when I was tired; having stood in the longest queue for hours and I was yearning for my bed which would lull me into a probably dreamless sleep when my well stretched (over used) muscles would take some rest. The weather itself was a lullaby, there was thunder, lightning and a torrent of rain; drops dripping off the car’s window, a pleasant chilly breeze twirling around me.

This was indeed an accidental click and looking through my pictures, I suddenly came upon this picture. I hadn’t realised I had captured such a beautiful moment (Whatever anyone else’s opinion may be, this is an “awesome” snap for me). I am not at all picturesque; I don’t go teary over a beautiful natural sight and I absolutely don’t like to click pictures of fantastic sights as they don’t hold much for me.

Yet, I am positively awed by this picture. Awed is an undertone, I am going wacky  over what I see in this picture. Not one thing, but hundreds of memories and thousands of feelings.

Some say I see a lot which others don’t. In this picture, I see a long road with darkness engulfing it on both sides. As the road goes further, it thins down slowly. But on the brighter side, there is light on the horizon; a beacon of hope. And do you know what I interpret this road as? 

This road is the path in which we have to walk through our lives. As we go on moving ahead in our lives, the difficulties aka darkness multiplies by leaps and bounds. The road becomes bumpier; it takes more time to move forward. But there is always a beacon of hope on the horizon, the hope that we will be able to move forward brushing way the barriers!
