Eligibility for Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences

• You must have B.Sc with First Class/ Division with Honours/ Majors in Physics with mathematics as one of the subjects.

Eligibility for Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences

• You must have M.Sc with First Class/Division in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and/or its interdisciplinary branches with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Fellowship for Ph.D. Programme in Sciences 2012

Fellowship for Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physical Sciences

• You will receive Rs 12,000 per month during the first two years of the programme. Thereafter, upon meeting the eligibility criteria, you will be inducted as JRF and will be paid Rs. 16000/- per month.

Fellowship for Ph.D Programme in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences

• In line with the current rules, you will receive Rs 16,000 per month for the first two years as a JRF. Thereafter, upon meeting the eligibility criteria of the Centre, you will be inducted as SRF with a monthly stipend of Rs. 18000/-.
