To deliver the Campus Calling section in every Wednesday's edition of HT Education, we, 6 Campus Journalists put in our best efforts to bring that 1 page of our experiences. Any theme it be, we deliberate over it, debate over what we want you, the readers, to read and contemplate over the validity of any argument. The six of us have our own comfortable zones; a zealous team, we of course are. I wonder about how every CJ can be described in terms of the role they play in every group meet. And I come up with some quirky terms for all of them:
Anwesha Padhy aka “Research”: Being an insufferable know all (Like Hermione Granger) a well versed teenager in various fields, she has her facts ready. She plays an invaluable role in helping everyone prepare “The List”, as it is called – which forms the base of our articles!
Apoorv Gupta aka “The Incurable Optimist”: Be it any theme, he is always resolved to make it appealing to the rest of us! Even if we all are feeling queasy over the validity of the “The Theme of the Week”, including the “IC”, he would present some solid points to convince us and indeed, we would be convinced!
Rishabh Suri aka “The Scribe”: Though we all are well technologically advanced, we prefer our meeting’s blurb to be physically noted down. This is when this CJ doubles up as the scribe. Using Rita Skeeter’s Quick Quotes Quill, he adds in his own personal touch to our meeting!
Parnika Singhal aka “The Social Wizkid”: Waiting in anticipation for the latest society news? This CJ is practically our informant of the social world; filling in us some important events which did miss our scrutiny!
Yusra Hasan aka “The Unofficial Photographer”: We soon got to know how “Selfies” were clicked. “One Meeting, One selfie” is the mantra that this CJ believes in; a Herculean task to fit everyone in the frame, though. But it ends up cheering up everyone and lightens the atmosphere, so no one complains!
That’s it, I guess? Nah, I forgot myself. So,
Ummm.... Where am I? I prefer not to heap praises on myself describe myself, so I will let the other CJs’ do that!
