Panjab University Introduces Online Fee Payment Facility

Much to the relief of students, Panjab University has introduced online fee payment facility with the current academic session.

The university, which offers courses like science, engineering and technology, law, business management and arts, implemented the new facility on Monday, July 15th 2013.

Earlier, the payment was made by demand draft or cash which had to be submitted at the university counter. However, the implementation of online fee payment facility has become an easygoing and effortless task.

This facility is available for students of 57 departments of Panjab University, reports a leading daily.

Freshers in college cannot make use of this online facility as having a roll number is compulsory for using this system.

Dental College, University Institute of Applied and Management Studies and University Institute of Legal Studies, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, University Business School are the institutes which are taking part in the online payment transition.

Panjab University administration and Panjab University Branch of State Bank of India have assisted in the implementation of online payment facility.

Panjab University was established in 1882 at Lahore. It is one of the oldest universities in India. University has 188 affiliated colleges spread over Punjab and having one rural Regional Centre at Kauni, and 3 Regional Centres at Muktsar, Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
