Many eminent speakers from the corporate as well as academic sector had marked their presence at Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences to enlighten the students during the most awaited management seminar on November 8, 2014.
OPINE 2014 is the management seminar of JIMS on the topic “Corporate Contribution towards Make in India Mission”
Seminar in detail:
The seminar was divided in to two technical sessions.
The first technical session by Mr. Suman Sarkar, Senior Consultant, Times Pro
His main focus was that foreigners should invest in India and make in India wing global technologies. He even spoke about how the government policies must be relaxed to encourage the manufacturing sector and insisted on manufacturing with zero defects as a successful mantra.
The next speaker, Mr. Amit Goyal, Director TKWS Institute of Banking and Finance focused on building a 100 crore business in 3 steps-Make it, Market it and Monetize it. He motivated the students to become entrepreneur and guided them how to raise funds for starting up their business. And this, according to him, will be the youth is contribution towards Make in India.
Second technical session with Mr. Sunil Keshwani, a Corporate Trainer
Mr. Sunil Keshwani emphasised on philosophical and spiritual issues in poetic and humorous way. He threw light on the need of changing and broadening our mindset because it limits the immense capabilities of human mind. He wanted the students to focus on life shells along with technical skills.
The next eminent speaker, Ms. Neelam Sharma, Deputy Manager, HRD, Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation, spokes about the technical details of “Make in India” Campaign, objectives like to provide employment, reduce poverty, to increase growth rate. A flair comparison was done by her between India and China related to strength and weaknesses.
The speakers connected very well and greatly enriched, enlightened and motivated the students by providing their valuable insights.
