The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali will be celebrating its Foundation Day on 27th September 2015 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. It will be an Open Day wherein all the labs will remain unlocked for the visitors.
In the past too, the founder’s day is celebrated on the similar lines. The institute envisions the fact that it will turn out to be yet another year of an enriching learning experience for students and aspiring candidates from various schools in and around the city.

The major focus at IISER Mohali is to create a world class scientific institution with an intellectually alive atmosphere of research. The institute has provision for a number of post doctoral fellowships as well.
