Kurukshetra University invites applications for Indian Nationals for the award of Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship 2014-15. This fellowship is instituted by Govt. of India at St. Antony’s College, UK
Basically the tenure for this fellowship is for one year but can be extended by one year more on the basis of the performance of the candidate. Through this fellowship students is paid an amount of 29, 347/- euro per annum.
Facilities under this fellowship:
- Economy class air passage for both sides
- Spouse of the candidate will get air fare provided he/she stays with the scholar in UK for the continues period of one year
- As the fellowship amount is sufficient for only one person, the scholar will have to meet the expenditure on maintenance of spouse
Eligibility criteria for this fellowship:
- Scholar should have specialization in Modern Studies in the subject fields of History, Economics and Political Science
- Should have uniformly brilliant academic record with 60% in PG and with a Ph. D degree in the subject-field chosen or published works of equivalent merit, which have received outstanding recognition
- This fellowship is for young scholars, who is bent on pursuing an academic career and whose status would be comparable to that of a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford
