NMIMS -ASMSOC introduces a brand new 3 year course this year, called B. Sc Finance, for all young aspirants who plan on developing a career specifically in finance and economics.
The admission procedure is over and the classes will commence from July 7, 2014. Along with the traditional BBA and B.Com (Hons.), the new course also got a sizable response from the aspirants. The number of applications is satisfactory.
A few colleges offering this course exclusively and the curriculum covers topics that lay a strong foundation for someone who is planning to pursue a master’s degree in finance. The admission was through NMAT, which is a standard entrance test for NMIMS-ASMSOC.
NMIMS Univeristy marked its presence in 1981 by the parent body Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal. The institute was granted "Deemed University" status by the UGC in 2003 and can hence grant full academic degrees on its students. It has campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
