National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training and Research is organising a national seminar on ‘Green Vehicle Technology for Cleaner Environment’. Punjab Technical University has received an invitation to participate actively in the seminar.
The seminar will be an initiative taken by the institute towards lowering the current pollution level in Delhi.
Being the third largest source of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, road transport is one of the main causes of air pollution. In case of Delhi, the pollution level is 12 to 14 times the safe limit, a major chunk of which is produced by road transport. The use of green vehicles will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduces oil impact and contributes to energy independence.
The seminar is open to students, research scholars, faculty members, scientists and engineers.
