NIT Tiruchirappalli

When we talk about NIT ranking in India, NIT Tiruchirappalli, or simply NIT Trichy, tops the list. Situated on the banks of river Cauvery and in an area that is considered the heart of Tamil Nadu, NIT Trichy enjoys autonomy in the matters concerning to finance and administration. Granted the status of Deemed University, approved by UGC/AICTE and the Government of India, the institute offers 10 courses at the undergraduate level (B.Tech and B.Arch), 23 programmes at PG level (including MCA and MBA), M.S. (by research) and Ph.D programmes.

NIT Surathkal, Karnataka

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) is known to deliver quality education and has an excellent infrastructure that enables it to find a leading position in NIT ranking list in India. The institute was formally known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College and is now a public engineering university based at Surathkal. NITK is recognised as an institute of national importance and is one the 31 National Institute of Technology in India. In 1965, the NIT initially started with three undergraduate courses in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, while its first postgraduate course in 1966 in Marine and Industrial structure.

National Institute of Technology in Warangal aka NIT Warangal aka NITW is a federally funded Institute of technology in India. The institute was first among 17 Regional Engineering Colleges established in India. Being one of the top engineering college in NIT ranking list in India, NIT Warangal offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that include B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA as well as Ph.D. programmes. MNNIT, Allahabad

Year of Establishment: 1961

Formally known as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), MNNIT or NIT Allahabad is a public higher education institute based in Uttar Pradesh and is among the leading engineering colleges in NIT ranking list. Like the other National Institutes of Technology, NIT Allahabad is also classified as an Institute of National Importance. In a joint survey conducted by Economic Times, MNNIT Allahabad was declared as the best engineering college in North India and ranked No. 1 in overall. Not only is this, but the MNNIT is also ranked 3rd in all 30 NITs and No 1 NIT of India in various surveys an rankings. Aside from this, Global Human Research Development Centre ranked Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology on No 1 in ‘Top Engineering Colleges of Super Excellence.’     

NIT Hamirpur

Year of Establishment: 1986

NIT Hamirpur was established on August 1986 as a Regional Engineering College in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. Classes started at the Government Polytechnic College Hamirpur initially, as the institute has no campus as such. The administration and the classes moved to the present structure in 1987 when some of the buildings were ready. At the time of inception, the institute offered admissions in only three departments that included Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Counted among the top engineering colleges in NIT ranking list, NIT Hamirpur is located in the spectacular natural backdrop and has a superb infrastructure that enables it to lure students from all over India.
