Didn’t come out shining from your board exams. Don’t fret and get bogged down about a year being wasted because National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) brings a way out.

NIOS will provide students with an opportunity to take the exam again, during the month of October 2013. NIOS’s aim to take this step, is to give students another chance at the examinations they did not fare well.

Students, who will be appearing for the exam, will need to give three additional exams apart from the designated ones. While the marks of other two subjects obtained in the main board exam will be transferred for students registered under the Transfer of Credit scheme (TOS), the condition is that these two subjects should fall under the NIOS’s Education scheme.
