Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is the 58th largest university in the world and is now open for admission to Bachelor of Education, Special Education -Distance Education (B. Ed SEDE) for 2013 – 2015.

NSOU offers undergraduate, post graduate, Ph. D and second degree programmes in Humanities, Science, Commerce and Computer Science. Besides this, NSOU also offers various certificates, diploma and postgraduate diploma courses.
Eligibility criteria for B. Ed 2013 in Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU)
- Graduates (3 years) and/ or Masters with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
Duration of B. Ed SEDE by NSOU: 2 years
Contact session: 450 hours in four contact sessions, two sessions every year
Specialization in any two School Subjects (SS-1 and SS-2): SS-1 Teaching of English / Bengali; SS-2 Teaching of Science / Mathematics / Social Studies
Specialization in Disability Area: Mental Retardation (M.R.) / Hearing Impairment (H.I.)/ Visually Impairment (V.I)
