N.E.S.T 2014: Syllabus and Scheme of Test

The content, pattern and style of this test is similar to any other tests of objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Fill-in-Blanks and Yes/No types of questions as, for example, in CET, CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL, etc. Thus, any books that prepare you for these tests will also help you for NEST.

The NEST 2014 exam comprises of five sections as given below:

** NEST-II Candidates will choose any one group from the following:
A = Comp/IT/Telecom/Elect/Instr; B = Mech/Prod/Auto.
C = Civil/Cons/Arch; D = MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BDS

Test Centres:

In all State Capitals and other major cities of India, such as Agra, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi and NCR, Durgapur, Ernakulam, (Cochin), Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hubli Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Panipat, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Trichy, Vadodara, Vishakapatnam etc.

You can opt for maximum 3 choices of cities in order of preference where you would like to take the test.

Note: Except in a situation beyond our control, we will inform you about any such change in advance, at least 15 days before the test
