The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts this national-level scholarship exam every year to award qualified students with NTSE scholarship.
NCERT is scheduled to conduct NTSE stage –I exam in November 2022 in three day window and the final scholarship test i.e. the NTSE stage-II exam in May 2022.
The national-level scholarship exam is conducted in two stages and each stage paper is divided into two parts to test applicants’ ability.
The stage-I state level NTSE exam qualification is the only criteria to appear for stage –II exam and attain scholarship.
Students enrolled under Open Distance Learning (ODL) can also appear for the exam.
