Department of Industrial Engineering, GITAM University will conduct a national seminar on Industrial Safety on March 26-27, 2014.
The seminar intends to impart knowledge on safety practices in an industry, where the students are going to work after their graduation. The seminar covers the various aspects of safety in manufacturing industries, construction industries, production systems, automobile industries, aerospace industries and general safety in day to day activities.
The purpose of this seminar is to create awareness on safety to future engineers. It also aims at educating the engineers on preventing industrial accidents by creating comfortable working environment through establishing standards on occupational safety.
