National Seminar on Health, Medicine & Law at VIPS

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies-Vivekananda Law School is organising a two-day National Seminar on Health, Medicine and Law: Growing Concerns and Challenges on December 11, 2015 and December 12, 2015. The Symposium intends to conduct exchange of views and thoughts between law and medical as also various other streams professionals concerning with health and medicine and law. Vivekananda law School has tried to bring together multi-disciplinary streams pertaining to law and health.

• The symposium is a multi-disciplinary seminar at national level which will offer opportunities to know and understand the views of various disciplines, including and not limited to, law, medical science, forensic science, psychology, behavioural science, sociology, economics and history.

Call for Papers-Sub themes are as follows:

1.      Health and Medicine: International obligations and impact on India

2.      Law on Medicine and Health: IPR, Trade and Services

3.      Health and Medicine: Law and Policy

4.      Investigation of Crimes: Forensic Science

5.      Development in the field of Medicine and Health: Responsibility of Law to assure wise use

6.      Mental Health and Disability: Law and Policy

Submission Guidelines for presenters:

The papers must be original research papers and articles on the topics mentioned above. The selection is based on the relevance, clarity and originality. The papers and articles must comprise of advance knowledge, understanding and application of their domain.

The Cover page of the article shall contain

(i)                 Title of the article (in bold)

(ii)               Name (s) of the authors

(iii)             Professional affiliation

(iv)              Address of correspondence and Email

The second page should contain:

(i)                 Title of the article (Times New Romans, 16, in Bold)

(ii)               An abstract of the paper in about 300 words (Times New Roman 12 Point Type, single spacing, in Italics)

(iii)             Keywords should be provided which encapsulate the principal topic of the paper (3-5 key words alphabetically)

• Academicians, professionals and practitioners: INR 1000.00
• Research Scholars and students: INR 900.00

DD should be made on the name of ‘Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies’ payable at Delhi. The Registration includes Conference kit, Tea/Snacks, Lunch and a copy of abstracts. It does not include TA/DA and accommodation or any other travelling expenses.
