On the occasion of National Science Day, Giani Zail Singh Punjab Technical University, Campus Bhatinda celebrated the day with fervour on March 5, 2014. The theme was “Fostering Scientific Temper”.
National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28th February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman.
There were preliminary round (objective type test) for quiz competition, Competition for Poster making, Collage making, Model making.

There was a documentary held one day prior to NSD 2014. There was an exhibition of all the events on NSD day.
