NATA Syllabus 2018

NATA Syllabus 2022- NATA Entrance exam 2022 is organized by the Council of Architecture (CoA) to select the best candidates for admission in various campuses all over India after analyzing their skill and aptitude in the Architectural field. Syllabus of NATA 2022 will help the candidates to understand better about the exam. It is a guide to the examination which gives an idea on the important areas and the questions that are asked in the examination. It also provides the candidates to understand the exam in general as well as the important areas of focus. The syllabus of NATA 2022 contains topics from General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Drawing. The candidates should go through the syllabus to make out the best strategy for preparation before the examination. NATA Syllabus will help the candidates to focus more on the important topics and cover all the other prescribed topics by the Council of Architecture.

The syllabus of NATA 2022 is further divided into three parts i.e. Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing. The candidates will be asked to solve questions from all the parts and the one who scores the best will be given admission as per their ranks in NATA 2022. The candidates are also required to know the NATA 2022 exam pattern here to get a detailed idea on the entrance examination.  

NATA Syllabus 2022

Here are the topics and areas in which the candidates should focus more to get high marks in the examination. The examination for mathematics and general aptitude will be done in the OMR format whereas the drawing test will be conducted in paper and pencil format. The duration of the entrance test will be of 3 hours/180 minutes and candidates are required to attempt the entire question paper within the time bound.

• Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawing.

• Conceptualization and visualization
• Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms.
• Drawing of patterns - both geometrical and abstract
• Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces and volumes.
• Generating plan

• 3D views of objects.
• Perspective drawing
• Sketching of urban scape and landscape.
