NATA Exam Pattern 2022 – NATA or National Aptitude Test in Architecture is an all India level entrance examination conducted across the country to test the applicant’s aptitude in the field of architecture. The exam, which is conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA), selects students for admissions to various architecture colleges across the length and breadth of the country. Mathematics and General Aptitude Test
- The aspirants should keep in mind the following instructions before attempting the Mathematics and General Aptitude paper.
- All the questions have to be marked on OMR sheets and for drawing, separate drawing sheets will be provided for the aspirants.
- The exam will be conducted for 180 minutes (3 hours). The First 90 minute will be allotted for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The medium of question paper will be in English.
- Only one answer option will be correct for each question.
- There is no negative marking but any wrong answering attempt will be considered punishable at the time of tie-breaking resolution.
- Candidates should answer either with black or blue pen in the OMR Answer Sheet.
Drawing Section
- Applicants must follow these guidelines to get good scores in the drawing section which will be held in the last 90 minutes of the NATA 2022 Entrance Exam.
- Candidates have to attempt the drawing part in the last 90 minutes.
- The candidates will be judged on the basis of their ability to sketch, visual and drawing effects of light on the object given and shadow cast of the surrounding, drawing senses of the candidates, creating and understanding the dimensions and compositions of the drawing.
- The drawings are to be done in the drawing paper while the drawing test and it will be examined by one or more examiners.
- The main focus in the drawing test will be given for the imagination, drawing and observation skills of the candidate.
