MRIU Inaugurates First Ever Digitized PNB Branch

A seminar on Awareness about Water Conservation was conducted on the occasion of World Water Day on March 22, 2022 at Manav Rachna International University.

 

MRIU celebrated the day in collaboration with Indian National Committee of International Association of Hydrogeologists (INC-IAH) in line with United Nation’s Water Theme for 2022: Water and Jobs.

Pati, Member, , CGWB; Smt Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr. Mukherjee, Scientist- D,CGWB; Dr Dipankar Saha, Sec. INC-IAH; Dr M. M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Dr. N. C. Wadhwa, VC-MRIU;  Dr Jatinder Saigal, Dean, Faculty of Planning and Architecture, MRIU; Dr Sarita Sachdeva, HOD, Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIU, were among the dignitaries who had graced the event.

 

The inaugural session witnessed the launch of digitized Punjab National Bank branch at the MRIU campus, followed by a colourful event welcoming dignitaries to a ‘Holi Milan’ and ‘World Water Day’ programme organised by PNB Prerna South Delhi Circle. Smt. Usha Ananthasubramanian, MD and CEO of Punjab National Bank on behalf of PNB Prerna donated a RO system to Sanatan Dharam Senior Secondary School Faridabad.

 

One by one session of all the dignitaries was held expressing their views on water and its significance in our life. A quiz on water was also conducted at the campus to mark ‘World Water Day’ and spread awareness on water related issues.
