MKU has Invited Application for Admission to Integrated B Tech-M Tech and BBA-MBA Courses

Madurai Kamraj University has invited application for admission to five year integrated courses in B Tech-M Tech (Film and Electronic Media Studies) and BBA-MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) for the academic year 2013-14.

Eligibility to apply for five year integrated courses by MKU:

• Five Year Integrated B.Tech- M.Tech (Film and Electronic Media Studies): You need to clear your higher secondary examination (10+2)/ Intermediate Examination or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Five Year Integrated B.B.A- M.B.A( Tourism and Hotel Management): You need to clear your higher secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent.
• Interested candidates who are undergoing the +2 or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the five year integrated courses.
• The Upper age limit for admission is 21 years as on 1st July 2013.
• A relaxation of 5 years is permitted for Physically Handicapped.
• A relaxation of 3 years is permitted for SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates and female candidates beyond 21 years for the admission.

Application procedure for admission to five years integrated courses offered by MKU:

• Registration Fee for each course in Rs 600.
• For SC/ST candidates who have opted for only one course, who are applying for only one course, there will be no registration fee.
• For SC/ST candidates who have opted for both the courses should pay Rs 600.
• SC/ST Candidates should apply separately for both the courses.
• Payment shall be made in the form of the demand draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University payable at Madurai.

How to apply for five integrated courses offered by MKU:

• The entries in the application form should be made by the applicant in their own hand writing in English only.
• Details of the Xerox copies of the certificate submitted along with the application should be furnished in the relevant column of the application.

Selection procedure for admission to five year integrated courses offered by MKU:

• The selection of the candidate is based on the marks obtained in the +2 or equivalent examination.
• This University reserves the right to change the Selection Procedure.
