The Delhi University admission process can be annoying, true, but it's not all that bad.
If there are cons, then there is a bucket full of pros too!
1. Your ‘Own’ College!
You get to visit your to-be-own college for the first time! If that's not exciting enough, I don't know what is! I mean, hello? Dude, college! Haha. I should probably end the list here itself because for me, this is reason enough. I think this first point outweighs every other trouble listed in the previous blog!
But I shall still go on.
2. The Lovely Teachers And The Administrative Staff.
In every college that I've visited and just FYI, I've visited ‘a lot’ of colleges, the teachers and the administrative staff are so kind and helpful. They patiently attend to the same queries asked again and again by every single student. In fact they're so nice that you'd do all the work twice if only they asked you.
3. Enthusiastic Student Volunteers.
The to-be seniors who are nice enough to volunteer and help out the college with the admissions are again so cooperative and consistent, that you can't just thank them enough. They're so readily available to help. And that makes us students who otherwise wouldn’t have an ounce of an idea about what to do, heave such a sigh of relief.
4. Parents. <3
Looking back, trying to spot your parents as you stand in the admission queue, you find them giving you a reassuring smile, like a silent promise to be always there. They stand there as your biggest pillar of support despite the heat and the sweat and the tiredness and you realize just how much they love you and you them. Lucky to have them, aren’t we?
5. Meeting The Other Fuchchas!
Talking to the other aspirants who can empathise with you more than anyone else present in the room is definitely the best part. Especially keeping in mind that these are the very people who are likely blossom into new friends and increase your already long, ‘friends-forever’ list.
At the end of all this Hu-ha, the good and the bad, the end result is an admission in the 'best' university of India, the University of Delhi. And that my dear friends, makes up for every little hassle you had to endure and enhances every little good part several ranks higher!
