MIRASS 2015: the annual function of Jamia University ended on high note

The annual function of Jamia Millia Islamia University, MIRASS 2015 began with great zeal and enthusiasm at Dr. M A Ansari Auditorium. The three day event was held between March 12-15, 2015.

 

The chief guest of the event was Dr. Najmah A Heptullah (Ministry of Minority Affairs). The event was inaugurated at 10AM on 12th March 2015, and the first program of the event was an Indian Vocal followed by a Management Skills competition, followed by composition and recitations in Hindi, Urdu and English. 

 

A new activity called "Corporate Role Play" was instituted under E-CLUB which was won by NPTI, Faridabad. Various universities like AMU Kerala, NPTI, Delhi University had participated in this event. Runners up and second runners up prizes were bagged by Jamia. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Subir Podder, VP - Treasury, HDFC Bank and Mrs. Yasmin Fatima, consultant at CIE. 

 

On the second day of the event, there were several programs lined up like:

 

 

14th March 2015, saw The Biz Quiz organized by the E-Club of Jamia. The judges of this event were Mr.Saad M, Director NICT, Mr. Shruti Tripathi, Amity University, Mr. Mohammad Asif Co-Founder Lean Post Pvt ltd, and the Dean ‘Student Welfare’ Prof. Tasneem Minai . DTU bagged the first prize. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College team(DU) were first runners up and Desh Bandhu College team of Delhi university were the second runners up. The event was wrapped up with a folk dance competition
