MHRD Internship 2014 For Graduates, Post Graduates and Researchers

With an objective of allowing young students to be associated with the HRD ministry in formulation of policies, implementation of projects and various initiatives in Education sector for mutual benefits, the ministry has invited applications for internship. The internship is open for Indian nationals pursuing Graduation, Post-Graduation and Research Studies.

The internship will offer exposure to government functioning and policy issues in Human Resource Development in Government of India and contribute to policy formulation by generating policy inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, policy papers etc.

Eligibility to apply for MHRD Internship

• The major criterion to apply for this internship is to have Indian nationality.
• She/he should be pursuing graduation/post-graduation/research in Education, Social Sciences, Science, Humanities, Management, Engineering, ICT, Law from any recognized university of India.
• Students pursuing three/four year programme should have at least completed two years (4 semesters) of course and those pursuing five year integrated programme should have completed three years or six semesters.

Highlights

The internship will be offered for two months initially and can be extended up to six months, if required. There will be 6 batches of internship for two months each i.e. October-November, December-January, February-March, April-May, June-July and August-September.

A stipend of Rs 10000 per month will be given to an intern after successful completion of internship along with a certificate by Administration Division on the basis of recommendation  of the concerned Bureau Head.

• Interested applicants pursuing course of studies at various recognized universities/institutions may send their applications along with their CVs.
• Applicants should specifically mention the specific batch for which he/she wishes to undertake internship.
• Applicants can mail there CVs to harjeet.edu@nic.in or post to Section Officer (Establishment-IV), Room No 235, C Wing, Shashtri Bhavan, New Delhi-110115.

Last date to apply for October batch was 30^th August 2014 for other batches students can apply till 28^th February 2015.
