Mega Blood Donation Camp at Manav Rachna International University

To pay homage to Dr. O P Bhalla, Manav Rachna International University organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp and stockpiled around 850 units of blood. The Blood Donation Camp was organised under the sponsorship of Dr. O P Bhalla Foundation in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Aravalli; Rotary Club, Faridabad Central; Lions Club, Faridabad; Rotary Club, Faridabad East; Rotary Club, Faridabad Aastha and Manav Rachna Leo Club.

Paying heed to the Indian customs, the day inaugurated with a floriated accolade by the MREI Family and soothing bhajans sung by the students of Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood at the Prerna Sthal of MREI Campus which was then followed by a Hawan. 

Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal (IAS) Deputy Commissioner-Faridabad initiated the blood donation camp. Chief Patron of MREI Mrs. Sayta Bhalla was the Guest of Honour. Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President-MREI; Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI; Dr. N C Wadhwa, MRIU; Dr. Sanjay Srivastata, Vice Chancellor, MRU; Lion Sham Kathuria, MJF, Advisor-Blood Donation Committee; Lion Mahesh Banga, Chairman-Blood Donation Committee were the amongst the special invitee.

Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad contented the students and felt flattered and grateful to unveil the Blood Donation Camp. He expressed his deep admiration for the Manav Rachna Family including the faculty and students for showing the spirit of generosity and making the day memorable day. The philanthropic act was a great accomplishment for the MREI Family.

In sequence of this Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President of MREI boomed with similar sentiments and commended the students for showing their fervour and coming forth and for the benevolent deed. He also briefed about the contribution of Dr. O P Bhalla, the Founding Father in improvement of society, his aids in the field of health, education, development of housing societies etc.
