MBA/PGDM Students of Suryadatta Group of Institutes on 3-Day Study Tour

Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Pune organized an industrial study tour for its management (MBA & PGDM) students to Ahmadnagar. Industrial study tour / industry visits to the industries in various sectors in Pune and around, is an on – going process in Suryadatta but the purpose of industrial tour to other cities is to give exposure to the students to the industries which are in different geographical conditions, apart from learning adjustment, co-operation and time management during the hectic schedule . Under its various Edu – Socio Initiatives Suryadatta students have visited industries in cities like Goa, Indore, Hyderabad, Sikandarabad and Nasik.

The students of Suryadatta Group of Institutes visited various sector based industries and keenly studied the processes involved. During their visit they studied the manufacturing process and discussed with H R, Finance and Marketing heads to understand their functioning. 

The industries visited by the students included, L&T (Switchgear) Crompton  Greaves (LT/HT Motors), Klassic wheels, Bothara Agro Equipments (Paras Group), Siddhi Forge, Siddhi Stamping / Aspire Molding, Meghanand Food Industries & Cold Storage, Epitome Components, Varsha Groups, Epitome Industrial System, Techno Trade Anipra Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Eaton Industries Pvt. Ltd.

It was a life time experience for all the students. Internship or Industry training forms an integral part of the Curriculum. The Industrial training enables students to relate the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom, with systems, standards and practices used in the industry. Suryadatta always encourages students for such endeavors. This is a unique experience for the students of Suryadatta. Such experiences give students an edge over the others in their professional life and also encourage and motivate others. 

The industrial visit was a great learning experience for all the students as they   came to know about the various management functions in real life situations and how the management concepts studied in B-Schools are practiced in reality. On the whole the industrial visit was a highly educative one, allowing the students to learn to deal with real life situations in the managerial field. All the students  are look forward for more such trips to be organized  by the  Institute.
