Madras University has started inviting applications from candidates seeking admission in its Master of Law (ML) course  for academic session 2022-17.

Students have a variety of choices under this programme as Madras University offers Master of Law degree in five branches:

• International Law and Constitutional Law
• Criminal Law
• Intellectual  Property Law
• Human Rights and Environmental Law
• Labour and Administrative Law

Aspiring candidates are recommended to submit their Master of Law application form of Madras University before the last date of submission i.e. November 17, 2022.

Applicants need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Law i.e. LLB from a recognized University/Institute to be eligible to apply for Master of law at Madras University.

Candidates seeking admission in Master of Law course at Madras University can buy the application forms from the Application Sales Counter at the Chepauk Campus of the varsity or can download Madras University application form from the official website of the varsity. Candidates can also get the application form for Madras University admissions by post.

Candidates downloading the application form will have to pay a DD drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai- 600 005” of the amount of application fee while posting the form.

Applicants should note that they will be charged with INR 200 as Master of Law application fees, whereas SC/ST candidates will only have to pay INR 100.
