The students at School of Communication, Manipal University got a chance to interact with self-taught, young and upcoming photographer Auditya Venkatesh who has chosen his passion as his career over a well earning chartered accountancy job.
Auditya who is from Bangalore and enjoys making documentaries has confessed that his knowledge about photography primarily comes from information drawn from the internet. He emphasized on the importance of theoretical knowledge and not just clicking pictures. One should understand and know the limitations and advantages of an intricate art like photography.
Auditya spoke about his experience with Make a Difference (MAD) where he traveled across 13 cities and volunteered in conducting photography workshops. Auditya is a sterling example of someone who chooses to do what he enjoys to do rather than what he should do. He encourages one and all to do the same
