Mangalayatan University joins hands with Beijing Wuzi University (BWU) of China to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a Tuesday of August 2015.
The MoU is hopped to open a close educational collaboration between the two countries and paved the way for academia and students for more comprehensive research with their Chinese counterpart.
A delegation of BWU consisted of Mr. Li Shizhu, Chairman, Council of BWU; Prof. Hu Zhanjun, Director Development Office; Mr. Liu Shibo Deputy Director Information Centre and Ms. Wang Lei Deputy Director Department of International Relations visited Mangalayatan to sign the MoU
Brig. (Dr.) Surjit Pabla, Vice-Chancellor, Mangalayatan University said that the University is trying to provide best international exposure to its students and to develop a deeper understanding of best practices in higher education. There is a lot of experience with BWU and students from MU can learn a lot from BWU.
The MoU will help the faculty members and students of Mangalayatn University for joint research project(s) in Beijing Wuzi University, Liaoning University of Technology, Shenyang Jianzhu University and Shenyang Aerospace University in China.
BWU consists of 3 academic schools and 4 departments offering 22 undergraduate academic programs. BWU has total enrolment of over 8,200 students and more than 650 faculty and staff members.
Cdr. Manjeet Singh, Registrar (Retd.), Mr. Karthik Gopalan, Vice-President (Operations), Prof. G.S. Agrawal, Controller of Examinations and Directors, HoDs from various institutes graced the occasion.
