GLA University successfully conducted its annual all India Sports Festival ‘Maitree’14’ with three days long exciting sports events on March 8-10, 2014.
Maitree is the annual All India Sports festival of GLA University organised by GLA Students. . As the name suggests Maitree is a friendship and stunning display of concordance sports fervour.
Maitree has come to be the centre stage for display of young talent in the Indian sportsmen studying at various technical institutes of the country. Over the years Maitree has redefined qualities like hard work, persistence, self-confidence and determination.
With over 1500 sports enthusiasts participating every year, Maitree has served as a perfect host to sportsmen across the country with an extremely competitive and vibrant atmosphere.

With participation from over many premier institutes of the country including the NITs and the IITs, Maitree has established itself as the nation’s most anticipated sporting experience by providing the skilled and technical brains of our nation, a platform to bring forth the sportsman within them.
This time also there was no change in the trend. University has successfully conducted the fest by showcasing the latent talents coming from different institutes.
