LinkedIn Reveals 25 Hottest Job Skills of 2014

A new research by professional networking site LinkedIn has revealed the top 25 job skills employers are seeking.

After analysing the skills and experience data in over 330 million LinkedIn member profiles, it was found that technological skills dominated the ‘25 Hottest Skills of 2014’ list.

Sohan Murthy, research consultant at LinkedIn, wrote in blog post, “Statistics and data analysis skills were highly valued across the globe while cloud and distributed computing skills were particularly in high demand in the US, India and France.”

Digital, online, and SEO (search engine optimization) marketing skills were also in demand in the year 2014, Murthy said.

The latest report suggests that job seekers should look for ways to update their technological skills in the New Year in order to land good offers.
