Lifetime Achievement Award to VC of Mangalayatan University

Vice-Chancellor of Mangalayatan University, Brig. (Dr.) Surjit Pabla is conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award on July 29, 2015 for his outstanding contribution to higher education in India in a career spanning several decades.  

 

After taking voluntary retirement as a Brigadier, he led Manipal University as Pro-Vice Chancellor, Sikkim Manipal University as Vice-Chancellor and was the founding Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, Jaipur. After a stint as President at JECRC University, Dr. Pabla has been leading Mangalayatan University to new heights over the last 18 months. He is the President of the Indian Council of Universities, was a member of the Yashpal Committee for Reforms in Higher Education, and has several other leadership positions to his credit.

 

The Mangalayatan University staff members and student community share tremendious pleasure and pride on his outstanding achievement.
