Last Date to Apply for PGDM at XISS Extended to 20th Feb, 2014

The last to apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes at Xaviers Institute of Social Science (XISS) has been extended to 20th February, 2014.

The institute offers – Two Years Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management approved by AICTE, New Delhi with specialization in:

Human Resource Management

Rural Management

Information Technology

Finance, and

Marketing

PGDM in Information Technology – 60

PGDM in Finance – 60

PGDM in Marketing – 60

Out of the above fifty percent seats are reserved for SC/ST and Christian candidates.

Eligibility

• Three / four years bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities with minimum 60% marks (50% for ST/SC candidates) or equivalent grade. However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.
• Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2013-14 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect. Such candidates if finally selected must clear their Graduation examination with minimum 60% marks (50% for ST/SC candidates) or equivalent grade by August 2014.

Admission Procedure

Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as per the guidelines of AICTE. These stages are:

• All India Management Admission Test
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

Based on entrance test scores, applicants will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held during 15th – 20th March 2014.
