Last date to apply for MBA at Jamia Hamdard is April 10, 2014

Jamia Hamdard University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for MBA admission for the academic session 2014-16.

Department of Management, Jamia Hamdard is an excellent centre of teaching and research situated in 90 acres of beautifully landscaped area of South Delhi. It has seven faculties offering courses in humanities, Unani medicine, nursing pharmacy, allied health sciences, pure and applied sciences and management and computer sciences. The department of management studies selects students on the basis of all India tests.

Eligibility criteria to apply for MBA in Jamia Hamdard:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

• CMAT (up to February-2014) / MAT (up to February-2014) /GMAT (up to February-2014) / XAT (up to 2014) /CAT / GPAT (only for MBA-Pharmaceutical Management) / ATMA (Association of Indian Management Schools Test (ATMA) exams scores or any other examination approved by the University.

• MBBS/BDS/BUMS/BHAMS/DS/BSc (Nursing)/ B. Pharm/ BPT / BOT/ BMLT/ BETCT/ BOPT/ BMIT/ BOTT/ BMR & HIM/ BCLT / BDT and mid-career professionals are exempted from CMAT / MAT /GMAT / XAT /CAT / GPAT / ATMA scores for admission to MBA(HM) and MBA (PM).

• Candidates with two or more years of industry experience are exempted from CMAT / MAT/GMAT / XAT /CAT/ GPAT/ ATMA scores.

• Attended Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by Jamia Hamdard

• For NRI/Sponsored Seats: CMAT / MAT /GMAT/ XAT/CAT/ GPAT/ ATMA scores are not required. They will have to appear for English proficiency, GD & PI.

• On the basis of qualified CMAT (up to February-2014) / MAT (upto February-2014) /GMAT (up to February-2014) / XAT (up to 2014) /CAT / GPAT (only for MBA-Pharmaceutical Management) / ATMA (Association of Indian Management Schools Test (ATMA) exams scores or any other examination approved by the University

• Subject to availability of seats candidates with MBBS/BDS/BUMS/BHAMS/DS/BSc (Nursing)/B. Pharm/ BPT/BOT/ BMLT/ BETCT/ BOPT / BMIT / BOTT / BMR & HIM/ BCLT / BDT and mid-career professionals and mid-career professionals are eligible for direct admission for MBA(HM) and MBA (PM) without the above said sores. However, they have to appear in GD & PI

• The candidates should clearly write the application Form number / Roll number of Jamia Hamdard on the back of the Score Card

• The admission will be made on the basis of the merit determined by the University

MBA aspirants are required to apply on the prescribed Online application form of Jamia Hamdard at www.jamiahamdard.edu, or at Jamia Hamdard campus.

The criteria for selection are given below:

Selection through CMAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/CAT/ ATMA/GPAT

• 60% weightage to CMAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/CAT/ ATMA/ GPAT Score

• 25% weightage to Group Discussion (GD)

• 15% weightage to Personal Interview (PI)
