Kurukshetra University Announces Admissions for Distance UG, PG Programs 2016 Open

Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Kurukshetra University announces Admissions open for BA, B.Com, B.Ed, BCA, Bachelor of Information Management (BIM), MA, M.Sc, M.Com and MCA programmes offered in various specialisations for the academic session 2022-18.

Kurukshetra University DDE: Eligibility Criteria   

For BCA Part I Programme: Interested candidates should have passed XII from the Board of School Education from Haryana or any other under Kurukshetra University. Candidates who have passed three years diploma course examination that Board of Technical Education, Haryana or from any other board of Technical education in India that Director, Technical Education, Haryana deems as equivalent can apply.

For BCA Part II Program: The interested candidates should have passed the BCA Part I examination of Kurukshetra or any other recognised university will be eligible to take admission in BCA part II program. Besides this, candidates who have got re-appear in not more than 50 percent papers of Part I are also eligible to apply.

For MA Program: Candidates interested in applying for the master degree programme should have passed bachelor’s degree exam or an equivalent of three years duration from the Kurukshetra or any other recognized university in India.

For M.Sc Part Program: Those who want to take admission to M.Sc programme should have necessarily passed BA and B.Sc with mathematics as one of the subjects or BA (Hons)/B.Sc (Hons) in mathematics examination of Kurukshetra or any other recognized university are eligible to apply.

For MSc (Part II) Program: Interested candidates should have passed Part I from the Kurukshetra University. Candidates having re-appear in not more than 50 percent subjects of Part-I are eligible for the provisional admission to the final/Part-II class of the relevant program.

Kurukshetra University DDE: How to Apply?

Candidates can reach out to the official website of the Kurukshetra University and download the application form by paying INR 600, which remains INR 150 for SC/BC/EBGP/blind candidates (belonging to Haryana only) with the prospectus fee to HDFC or ICICI banks only.

Candidates need to send the duly filled application forms to The Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra with the required documents within 10 days of the online submission of application form.

Candidates who want to take admission in MCA will be selected based on their performance in the entrance exam that Kurukshetra University will conduct.

Kurukshetra University DDE: Important Dates

The last date to submit the application forms is as follows:

• The last date of submitting the application without late fee is September 30, 2022.
• Candidates can submit applications with late fee by November 30, 2022.
• The application submission process will continue until December 30, 2022 with a late fee of INR 1000.
