Kurukshetra Institute of Technology and Management, Kurukshetra University is on its way for National Level event which has been scheduled to be held on April 5-6, 2014 in the college premises. Event is entitled as KKR MUN’14 (KURUKSHETRA MUN 2014), which is a simulation of United Nations.
MUN is a conference like none other. It provides its participants a great platform to expand their horizons and gives them a better understanding of the functioning of the United Nations. This conference will bring together the most experienced people from Indian Model United Nations circuit. The three committees involved are – General Assembly, Human Rights Council and All India Parties Meet.
Kurukshetra MUN came into existence in 2012 via MUN KITM’12 held at Kurukshetra Institute of Technology and Management. The first edition of Kurukshetra MUN was an immense success with overwhelming responses of people from all over the country.
The Second Edition Kurukshetra MUN was held in the Month of November 2013. With the great success of Kurukshetra MUN 2012 and 2013, the new grounds that have been made, even NIT Kurukshetra has headed and will hold its MUN in 2014 itself.
This year University plans to take it to a new level after the success of KKRMUN 2013. They started the journey with the inclusion of a 4th committee for the very first time in KKRMUN. It will bring you one of the best debate of the year here in Kurukshetra and it promises that the moments you will share with will be moment you will want to relive.
