The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) again on June 30, 2013.
The test is being carried out again following complaints from students that questions of last year’s paper were repeated in this year’s exam, held on Sunday. According to the students, the only change in the paper was the order of the questions.
Diploma Common Entrance Test (D-CET) is held for diploma holders seeking admission to professional undergraduate courses, reports a leading daily.
Students also said that the flaws in last year’s paper were repeated in this year’s paper. To look into the matter, an expert committee has been established.
Meanwhile, Higher education minister R V Deshpande has said that the diploma CET will be conducted again on June 30, 2013 and has also requested parents and students to cooperate.
The candidates who will take the exam do not have to pay additional fees. The admission tickets are available on the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
