123rd Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated with fervour at the campus of Jamia Millia Islamia University on April 17, 2014.
A lecture on "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Visions of Modern India" was delivered by Dr. Rabinder Kumar from Indira Gandhi National Open University on the occasion of the 123rd Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
He spoke about the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to the Indian society and polity.
The function was attended by the members of the Jamia SC/ST Welfare Association, office-bearers of Jamia Teachers' Association and students.
The participants expressed their thoughts on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. They paid floral tribute and homage to his memories. The function was organized by Jamia SC/ST Welfare Association led by Dr. D.K. Dhusia and Mr. S.K. Mahanada.
