JIPMER MBBS Exam on June 8th, 2014: Exam Centres

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) as is known today originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823. The medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India.

June 8th is when the national level medical entrance exam of JIPMER is going to be held.

JIPMER 2014 exam will be conducted in 36 cities across India as under:

• North Zone: Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Lucknow & Meerut
• South Zone: Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Managalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Nagarcoil, Namakkal, Puducherry, Salem, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Trivandrum, Vijaywada & Vishakhapatnam.
• East Zone: Asansol, Bhubaneshwar, Durgapur, Guwahati, Hoogly, Howrah, Kalyani & Kolkata
• West Zone: Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Pune

JIPMER falls under the direct purview of Ministry f Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
