Final Day Tips to keep in Mind:

Be confident:

Remember that you have done the best of your preparation. You have worked very hard to get through JEE Mains. Don’t get nervous to see the number of students appearing for the exam. Always be positive and have faith in yourself.

Be on time:

Students are advised to reach the examination centre at least 1 hour before the examination. This will help you find the examination centre/ hall and settle down. Candidates who arrive after the commencement of the exam will not be allowed. Being late and rushing towards exam hall will hamper your positivity. So make sure you reach much in time.

Documents:

You must carry all the necessary documents otherwise you will not be allowed to give the exam. Your JEE Advanced Admit Card is the most important document which you have to carry with you or else you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Along with the admit card, you must carry valid photo ID with you for verification.

You can carry any one of the following ID proofs to the centre:

  • Aadhar Card
  • College/School ID
  • Driving License
  • Employee ID
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Voters’ ID card

*NOTE:

Candidates will NOT be allowed to carry any electronic devices, abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, written or white (blank) paper/piece of paper, wallets, etc. to the examination hall.

Candidates should not wear items containing metals such as rings, bracelet, earrings, pendants or clothes with big buttons.

Avoid last minute discussion:

Stay away from the group of students involved in last minute discussions. Try not to speak to too many people before the exam. It will only make you confused and anxious about the exam. Be calm and positive during the exam. Remember, you are going to give your best shot this time.

Plan the paper:

Read all the given instructions carefully and plan the paper accordingly. If you don’t know any question, don’t get stuck there. You can come back to those questions after successfully attempting the answers which you already know. Strategically allocate the proper time for each question.

Sleep:

You should have enough sleep on the night before the entrance exam. Don’t study late at night and try to sleep on time in order to get up early in the morning. Proper sleep will keep you fresh and confident in the exam.

Have a healthy breakfast:

Have a proper breakfast before the exam or else you will feel weak. Avoid eating junk food or something heavy which will make you lazy. Staying hydrated is equally important. Ensure that you’re drinking enough water.

Be aware of negative marking:

Instead of following your false guesses, follow your brain. Don’t ever try to attempt questions in one go itself until and unless you are sure about the logic. Doing so in JEE Advanced exam can invite negative marks.

These are the tips which you have to keep in your mind on the day of JEE Advanced 2022. It will help you achieve your goals and dreams. Give your best and be optimistic about the exam because this is not the end of your life. You will get many more exams and opportunities in your life. Be cool and ALL THE BEST!
