Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Entrance Test 2017

Jamia Millia Islamia conducts the Mass Communication entrance test every year for candidates seeking admission in Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Mass Communication. These courses are offered at Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Center (AJK MCRC). Like every year, Jamia conducted the Mass Communication Entrance test on 30th April 2022.  

Jamia Millia Mass Comm Eligibility Criteria 2022

Applicants should have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute, but with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. SC/ST candidates are given an exemption of 5%.

Jamia Millia Mass Comm Exam Pattern 2022

The Jamia Mass Communication test paper consists of both objective (MCQs) and subjective type of questions carrying 200 marks total. It will be a written exam and applicants are required to take the exam at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi.

The Jamia Mass Comm entrance question paper will have total 200 questions in total. Out of these, 180 will be descriptive and 20 will be MCQs. Candidates should note that 0.25 marks will be deducted for each objective-type wrong answer.

Jamia Millia Mass Comm Selection Procedure 2022

Once the candidates qualify the Mass Comm entrance test, they will be called for Jamia Mass Comm Personal Interview round 2022, which will have a weight age of 45 marks along with a Portfolio submission of 55 marks.

The final selection will be made on the basis of total score combining written test score + Interview + Portfolio. Shortlisted candidates can then proceed with the further admission process including payment of admission fees and seat allotment.

Jamia Millia Mass Comm Result 2022:

The JMI Mass Comm Entrance test result was declared in the last week of May 2022 on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia University.
