Jamia Milia Islamia University Ph.D Admissions 2016

Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi has released an official notification inviting candidates to apply for admission in Doctorate of Philosophy programmes. The faculties include Humanities and Languages, Education, Engineering and Technology, Architecture & Ekistics, Natural Science and Social Science for the academic session 2022.

All the interested and eligible candidates can apply for these programmes before August 17, 2022. The applications can be checked on the official website of the university, www.jmi.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least an aggregate 55 percent.

Application Process

The candidate can download the application form from the official website, www.jmi.nic.in. Application must be submitted to the concerned Department with a Demand Draft of INR 1000/- drawn in the favor of the Registrar, Jamia Milia Islamia, payable at New Delhi.

Entrance Test

The Entrance test will be held on September 4, 2022. The test will determine the suitability of the candidate for admission to Ph.D programmes. Candidates should score at least 50 percent marks each in Section A and Section B of the entrance test to qualify for the interview. The names of the selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the concerned Department.

Important Dates

The last date to apply for the Doctorate of Philosophy programmes is August 17, 2022 and the entrance test will be conducted on September 4, 2022. The date for results has not been notified.
