IARC’ Centre for Science and Culture, Mumbai is spearheading the decade long Rio+20 India Programs (2012-2021). Listed on UNCSD website IYWC India is the 2013-2014 Rio+21 program to promote Water Cooperation & Sustainable Development amongst citizens of India especially student community.
Year 2013 has been declared the International Year of Water Cooperation (Resolution A/RES/65/154). UNESCO was appointed by UN-Water to lead the preparations for IYWC 2013. The celebrations kicked off in February 2013 in Paris, France.
Also, Government of India has declared the year 2013 as the Water Conservation Year.
Rio+21 - IYWC India Certification Program is spearheaded by Water Leaders (Coordinators / Ambassadors) across India. Participants will receive certificates with official logo of United Nations’ Water International Year of Water Cooperation (IYWC 2013) and UNDDD.
The program is designed to instill hope, to provoke thoughts and to inspire action through effective participation and meaningful commitments.
Rio+21 IYWC India Certification Programs (short-term course study) emphasize on the role of Water in Sustainable Development. The program launches on July 1, 2013. This unique and unparalleled program offers several benefits to Participants and Participating Institutes and Organizations.
