Interview Training Session at Bhawanipur Education Society College

The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC), Kolkata (University of Calcutta) organized a corporate interview training session for its students on 31^st August 2015.

Prof. Dilip Shah, the Principal of the college welcomed Mr. Abhirup Banerjee, who was the guest speaker for the day. He is a Human Resource recruiter and holds over eighteen years of experience.

Mr. Banerjee, in his address, enlightened the audience about the requisites of the corporate interview procedure. He explained that ‘Knowledge and Research’ are the most important factors that result into a successful interview. He talked about ways to tackle different situations in various interviews across organizations. He motivated the students by telling them how to deal with the stressful environment and stay confident during the course of the interview.

He conducted mock interviews to give a basic idea to the students as to what is expected of the candidates in a corporate forum. He discussed important points at the end of each interview.

The session was appreciated by all, the students as well as the faculty members. The college will continue to look forward to such sessions in the future to boost the morale of the students and to provide them with updated industry expectations and scenarios.
