Internship Opportunity for the Students of Textile Department at GCETT

As the placement season is about to start, various departments at Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology are busy in making pre-placement arrangements to prepare its students. Since its foundation, the textile department has reached heights in GCETT. Several of the high ranked professionals working in companies like Vardhaman Textiles, Raymond, Jay Shree etc are from GCETT. The college has produced several outstanding professionals in this field.

 

This year is no exception. The third-year students (2013-2022 batch) of textile technology will undergo internship opportunities with these companies. The students are highly excited and looking forward for it.

 

After the internship season is over, which may take up to a month and a half (July-August), the students might get an opportunity to work in the above stated companies. This pre-placement job solely depends on their hard work during the internships.

 

Same companies would come later during the placement season (to start from September 2022) and recruit engineers by conducting aptitude tests and interviews.

Textile Technology is the only department with 100% placement opportunity in GCETT. In every placement season, each of its student is placed with reputed industrial giants with lucrative packages. The average salary package stands about 3.5 lakhs per annum. Although few students have bagged, outstanding salary packages which sum to about 8 lakhs per annum. The whole expenditure of internships in looked after by the college for every student and is sponsored by TEQUIP-II.
