Like every year this year also International summer school started at Jamia Millia Islamia University from June 28, 2015.
In this six week programme of ISS students from several countries like USA, UK, MOROCCO, BHUTAN, FRANCE, INDIA etc. are participating and are using this common platform to understand different aspects on Indian culture , literature, history and economy.
ISS (an incredible India initiative) is being organised every year to promote Indian culture, language and literature. Students use this platform to interact with each other and understand the diverse Indian culture.
So far ISS has been quite successful in achieving its aim and that is to "promote international goodwill and cultural understanding at the level of young minds as they learn about India and its role in the twenty first century".
