In view of Shakespeare’s 400th Death Anniversary in 2022, a conference is being organized by the Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur from 16th-18th November 2015.
The conference is named "Shakespeare in Indian and European Languages" and it's aim is to bring together various different versions of Shakespeare in Indian and European languages and to perform a comparative analysis of the same.
The proposed themes include Shakespeare in different languages such as Tamil, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, German, French, Italian etc and how they are valid in translation.
The registrations for the conference will close on 31st August 2015. However, participants can send in their complete papers between 1st October and 31st October 2015 to the reviewing committee.
